Role Overview

As a Moped Rider, you will be the face of Shorecal on the road, responsible for the prompt and safe delivery of goods to our retail customers. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, values punctuality, and takes pride in representing a reputable company.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect goods from the Shorecal depot and deliver them safely and promptly to retail customers in Rathmines and surrounding areas.
• Maintain and care for the moped, performing routine maintenance checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Follow all road safety regulations and company policies to guarantee safe deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and retail teams to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, including any delays or customer feedback.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods as required.
• Represent Shorecal professionally at all times, providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid full UK or Irish moped licence and clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a moped or motorcycle rider, preferably within the retail delivery sector.
• Strong knowledge of Rathmines and surrounding areas to ensure efficient route planning.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual loading/unloading tasks.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
